Private sector clients

In general, it is our policy not to reveal the names of our clients, however, we do highlight examples of our consulting projects.

Example 1:

Sector Food industry
Target market USA
Task Definition and execution of strategy for growth in foreign markets

Our client: an olive oil producer with very limited growth potential due to a commercial focus in a highly competitive, small segment of the European market.

We developed a growth strategy by defining an overseas expansion project in the USA utilizing existing local packing capacity to market the company's branded olive oil in the USA as well as private label.

Our services entailed project definition, evaluation of project economic viability, and client assistance during the implementation phase. Operative consulting included site selection, establishment of the USA based company, personnel hiring, local supplier negotiation, and identification of commercial opportunities.

Example 2:

Sector Information technology
Target market Mexico
Task Reproduction of business model in a foreign country

Our client: a developer of proprietary, new software technology for the hotel industry.

Having successfully launched the software in Spain, our client wanted to transfer the same business model to a foreign country. We helped our client to:

•  Select foreign target markets

•  Create a 3 year business plan

•  Obtain project financing

Example 3:

Sector Construction material
Target market Various (Eastern European and Middle Eastern countries).
Task Create export department and conduct foreign market client searches

Our client: a designer and producer of industrial, pre-cast, concrete molds. The client had no previous export experience. We assisted the company with the internal preparation required for international expansion and spearheaded the entries into new markets. We assisted with client promotional activities and advised the client on how to capture new customers and agents.

Example 4:

Sector Renewable energy
Target market Poland
Task Setting up of an export promotional group

Our clients: Three companies in the renewable energy sector each with an offering that complemented the others. Their proposition: to form a group and to bundle their offerings to create a more complete package for potential clients and to reduce export promotional costs. We defined their common offering for the marketplace, drafted internal working guidelines, and created the first year commercial action plan for the Polish market.

Example 5:

Sector E-learning
Target market Spain
Task New product launch

Our client: a multinational company launching a European wide e-learning program that supported the introduction of the digital tachograph. We targeted potential customers in the Spanish market and developed the Spanish marketing program (including the launch of an e-commerce website and promotional selling to the transportation sector via Google).

Example 6:

Sector Food industry
Target market Eastern Europe and Latin America
Task Technology transfer

Our client: a leading Spanish producer of innovative, ready-to-eat frozen meals. We investigated the opportunity to sell this know-how to Eastern European and Latin American companies seeking to diversify their portfolios with higher value added frozen products.
